Utilization of innovation results at UVATERV Engineering Consultants C. C. Ltd with EU support.

The overall cost of the project exceeded 38 million HUF, out of which 25 million HUF was a non refundable support. The execution of the project took nearly 1 year and 20 employees of the company participated in it.

The present development work at the company aimed at the extension of the applicability of the formerly developed FI-150 bridge beam support system, on three fields.

As a first step we carried out surveys on the deformation occurring in the 100 first days of use of the newly constructed bridge beam, the result of which will be useful during the quality assurance procedure, on the occasion of the handing over – taking over at the plant, before installation of the beam.

In the second phase, technological method statement was prepared for the installation of the bridge beams in special fields, in the course of which we managed to resolve installation at important heights unsuitable for using cranes, with the method of pushing in the beams from the abutments.

Finally, we analyzed the suitability of the beam according to the Russian standards, based on which the beams are ready to be place in the market of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

The completed development project will expectedly result in a significant increase of applicability of the product system and, as a consequence,s increase our design incomes as well.
