The Forum was attended by Mr. Shahin Mustafayev, Azeri Minister of Economic Development and by Mr. Péter Szíjjártó Under-Secretary of State of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations. According to Mr Szíjjártó: “After the crisis nothing will be like before, we need new national economic strategy”. Underlining this latter, it was mentioned that the Hungarian engineering companies can take part in infrastructure development projects, in projects of road-, bridge and railway construction.
In the past period 10 billion USD has been invested in such projects, and according to the recent information further interesting projects will be launched in the near future.
Based on our information we can state that – in conformity with the government’s strategy – it is worth while joining the competition in Azerbaijan with the international companies of developed countries already present in the market; in some professional fields we can offer advantageous engineering services.
