ELEVATED RESCUE HELIPORT Siófok City Hospital - Clinic

Design task:
Preparation of establishment approval documentation for an elevated, category V., rescue heliport on top of new building for Emergency Department at Siófok City Hospital – Clinic.
The plans include the documentations defined in 4th paragraph of 16.§ of Government Regulation no. 159/2010.(V.6.).
The architectural and related discipline design documentations prepared by ARKER STÚDIÓ Építészeti és Kereskedelmi Kft. were used in this design documentation. Furthermore geodetic survey prepared by surveyor András Harmath.

Summary:
The heliport on the elevated level will be located on the territory of Siófok Hospital - Clinic, on top of the new emergency department to be established.
The landing site is located on the roof of a new 2-storey building in front of the central building, above the level of the engine houses installed on the roof. Patients are transported through a horizontal sidewalk on top of the engine house, which connects the landing site to a staircase (elevator) in the southwest corner of the building.
There is an escape staircase on the south side of the landing site that leads to the top of the building (engine room level).
On the south and west sides of the new building block (and thus the landing site) is the existing central building of the hospital, which with its 5-6 storey height limits the aerial accessibility of the landing site.
