The first Hungarian test track – suitable for all tests of vehicles – was constructed near village Écs,20 km south of Győr. The test tracks suiting various requirements are located on a 80 ha hilly area. One of the difficultiest tasks was to harmonize the demands and the conditions of the terrain, while namely alignment of some tracks is horizontal, while otherones have considerable level differences. Almost each track should be long-wearing one since the vehicles tested at various dates can only be compared in this case. Therefore quality demands were determined, then the pavement structures and the special building technologies designed for each track individually. Cost saving water management (using rainwater), electricity supply, CCTV network, emergency phone system, protection against fire and property protection should also be solved.
