Elaboration of special civil engineering technologies at UVATERV Ltd

We carry out the above mentioned project in the frame of “Új Széchenyi terv” - New Széchenyi Plan.
We obtained a non-reimbursable subvention of 30.329.700,-HUF for the execution by the tender of KMOP-1.1.4-11/A-2011-0131.
Our technical development colleagues are elaborating 2 topics since the beginning of the year, start of the works.

Application of steel fibre feeding during the construction of permanent tunnel.

During our development work, respecting the European specifications, we deal with methodology of technology organisation, control and qualification procedures.
We present by sample tasks the variant modelling and calculation differences and the advantages of the procedure. Test models were realized according to the testing methodology tested in our laboratory in the frame of the same project.
In course of our investigation work we deal with methodology of technology organisation, control and qualification procedures according to the Russian specifications too. Finally, as result of the development work the sample technical documentation of the tunnel structure and the technical specification of relating technology will be elaborated.

Types of reinforcing steel frames and meshes in an environment exposed to earthquake danger.

The civil engineering and particularly the building construction are in an extremely strong development in the former Soviet states apart from the short stops in the recent past. These areas are exposed to medium or high earthquake danger. The EC regulation is generally unknown, either non-applied, they apply the former Soviet and the present Russian standards with individual national application documentation if necessary. According to their experience their wide-ranging opinion is that it is impossible to build high (15-30 floors) houses with panel construction system, instead of it the in-situ concrete, framed and large-panel construction starts to become usual.
We can state in general that the design and execution culture of this system is not appropriate and there are several problems in the application of large-panel formwork (weakening impact of expansion joint, inappropriate reinforcement systems in use, anchorage, etc.) that are to be solved.

During the development work we elaborate new building construction structural methods according to the seismic risks.
In the frame of the project part, we elaborate simple, easily applicable calculation method for the dimensioning of structural elements according to the Russian reinforced steel standard.
Parametrizable CAD format designs of reinforced steel frames and meshes are elaborated with general structural dimensions and reinforcing steel diameters.

In course of development we consider the seismic bearing capacities according to the Russian earthquake standard and we apply modelling method for testing the behaviour of the reinforcing steel frames to be realized.
As result of this phase a sample documentation of reinforcement joint connection and a technical specification of relating technology shall be elaborated.
