Expansion of the Fire Base of Ferihegy Airport was carried out in association with constructing Terminal 2B.
The Fire Base has the following functions among others:
- Off-duty facilities for the staff,
- Office rooms for the control,
- Storage and maintenance of the equipment,
- Parking, maintenance and rapid launching of the trucks.
In designing the pavement of considerably small area we reckoned with the following considerations:
- Layouts and elevations of the existing building, road and paving,
- Preserving and/or relocating the existing public services,
- Taking the layout of the building into consideration,
- Environmentally aimed underground water evacuation,
- Accommodation of the projected public service facilities and coordination of the design work,
-Preparation of a genplan.
