Only the post office was completed in the central area of Gödöllő, which area had been left vacant for being built up at some later date. The city centre was designed by UVATERV arranging further constructions as a continuation of the post office at a pattern of quadrangle blocks.

The facilities include an underground garage for parking 150 cars, commercial, cultural and service functions at the ground floor, and offices on the upper floors and in the attic. The features of the design are matched to the architectural image of the inner city of Gödöllő.
