The M5 Motorway Police Building has been built within the area belonging to the Road Operating and Maintenance Center, Újhartyán, as an independent complex, separated from the Maintenance Center itself.

It has a central office building, a garage building, a garbage can store, parking lots, and parks. In designing the building located at an external area, a fundamental task was, in addition to the special floor plan layout, also to establish security. In addition to the unique design and glazing of glass walls and the iron bars designed for the aesthetic windows, also the monolithic r.c. zig-zag plate ceiling designed for the upper space separation of the attic has also served for that purpose.
