Electrification of Budapest – Esztergom Railway line

The construction of Esztergom railway line began in the 19th century, originally the track has meant to be a commuter (local) line. The primary goal of the railway track was to secure the supplement of coal for Budapest’s factories and population. In the 20th century the coal mining dropped back and the surrounding settlements rapidly increased. The role of freight traffic was taken over by the suburban passenger traffic.

DESIGN OF THE KOSSUTH SQUARE DEEP-LEVEL GARAGE AND VISITOR CENTRE

This article presents design and reinforced concrete structural features of a grandiose establishment - an underground garage and a Visitor Centre aiming at renewing environment of the Parliament, realized as part of a high priority project. We have been involved in the work not only as designer but also within the framework of an on-site supervision by designer during the entire implementation work. Site: Budapest, Hungary.

Reconstruction of Vaszary manor house

2012. 10. 08.

Balatonfüred is a city famous for its medical water sources. The Benedictine order - proprietor of the territory from 1866 – divided land into plots in order to establish a European standard spa resort respecting the strict construction requirements which resulted in birth of an attractive city center.
Archbishop Kolos VASZARY built in this area a manor house in 1892 surrounded by.

The design work of the reconstruction was obtained by UVATER Ltd. while VEMÉVSZER Ltd. got the execution work.
